Terms of Service
Last updated 14 September 2026
These terms cover your use of Pulse (askpulse.site), run by Shreya Agarwal, an individual based in India. By using Pulse you agree to them. In these terms "Pulse", "we" and "us" mean her, and "you" means the person or team using Pulse.
1. What Pulse does
Pulse reads public reviews, support threads and security advisories about WordPress plugins and themes and writes reports about them. Counts in a report are computed from stored posts, quotes are copied verbatim, and every finding opens the posts behind it.
Reports are written with the help of AI. The analysis can still be wrong or incomplete, so check the linked sources before you make a decision that matters. A report is information, not legal, financial or professional advice.
2. Your account
- You need to be at least 18 to create an account.
- Give accurate information, and keep your sign-in secure.
- You are responsible for what happens in your workspace, including what teammates you invite do there.
3. Free reports and paid plans
Each person's first report is free. It needs an account but no card. Paid plans and their prices are listed on the pricing page.
Monitoring is billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Dodo Payments, our payment provider, at the price shown before you pay. It is charged for each plugin or theme you monitor.
You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next charge; monitoring continues until the end of the paid billing period. Pulse does not give refunds, including for the unused part of a period. This does not take away any right you have under the consumer protection law where you live.
If a payment fails, monitoring continues for seven days while the payment is retried. If it has not succeeded by then, monitoring stops and the workspace returns to the free baseline.
If your bank or Dodo Payments reverses a payment, monitoring stops and the reversal is recorded against that payment.
Reports already delivered (baselines, Monday briefs, monthly reviews and their evidence) stay readable after monitoring stops, for as long as the account exists.
If a price changes, we will tell account holders at least 30 days before the new price applies to them.
4. Using Pulse fairly
Please do not:
- break the law, or use Pulse to harass the people who wrote the posts it quotes;
- try to reach another workspace's data, or get around limits and security;
- overload Pulse, or copy its reports in bulk to run a competing service;
- resell access to Pulse without our written agreement.
We may suspend an account that does these things. Where we can, we will tell you why first.
5. Who owns what
You may use your reports however you like for your own work. The posts quoted in a report belong to their authors, and wordpress.org's own terms apply to them. The Pulse name, site and software belong to us.
6. Changes and availability
Pulse is new and will keep changing. We may add, change or remove features. If a change takes away something a paid plan includes, we will tell account holders first. We work to keep Pulse running, but it is provided as it is, without a promise that it will always be available or error free.
7. Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits or decisions made from a report. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Pulse in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law does not allow to be limited.
8. Ending
You can stop using Pulse and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may end an account that breaks these terms.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts of India.
10. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes too. If a change is significant, we will email account holders before it takes effect.
